The Owner specifically request that the integrity of the original design be respected, yet the new addition should have its own presence.

-Master Bath (80 S.F.)
- Exercise Room (180 S.F.)

Analysis
Narrative
A couple, a journalist and an archeologist, are retired from there long years of traveling. This couple are also grandparents and enjoy spending time with their grandchildren when they visit their home. They want their grandchildren to be inspired by the different cultures that the world has to offer. So, in order to achieve that, they want to showcase their travel experiences through the design of their home. Their favorite travel experience was when they flew on a hot air balloon, and they want to incorporate that aspect into their home. They believe that spending time with their family and experiencing the unknown is the key to a successful life.
