This project visualizes the relationship between form and function in architecture. The objective is to take a bridge and transform it into a movable bridge using analogies of house hold items.

The requirements for this project are:

- 190' bridge span.

- Movable components to allow a 30 x 40 object to pass through.

- No part of the bridge could enter in the water.

- Water is 10' below the road.

- Membranes no longer than 20' or higher than 100'
